 February Club Night at the Star seems a long time ago but, after an exceedingly wet 24 hours, there was not a Triumph out. Nevertheless, a great turnout for John to fly solo.
Our run from the House of Marbles to the Sportsmans Inn was as wet as we have ever had a run. Still, Shane brought his Dolomite Sprint, fresh from a rebuild after last year’s Isle of Wight trip, Julian & Lorraine brought their trusty Skoda, and Dan his Dinitrol liveried Maestro van. The rest of us were in moderns. The spectacular views on the drive were masked by driving rain and fog but we all got to the pub and had a great lunch. Best of all, the Dolomite never missed a beat.
